Budget 2022 – Town of Twillingate
On December 14th, 2021, The Town of Twillingate announced its balanced budget of $2,760,020.09 for 2022.
Notable capital investments include George Hawkins Memorial Arena upgrades, sewage lift station retrofit, and a commitment for a redevelopment of the Town Fire Hall; total commitments of $775,000 over the course of construction.
The Town’s debt servicing costs to be reduced by $45,806 (2% decrease) down to 5%. The Town continues to position itself as an ideal place to live and invest by holding the line on residential and commercial mil rates for 2022.
